禁毒專員陳詠雯回顧去年的吸毒數字，頭三季整體吸毒人數較前年同期下跌百分之六，但吸食冰毒的人士有明顯升幅達一成三，認為其中一個原因，是對冰毒有誤解，強調冰毒會導致思覺失調、抑鬱，甚至自殘等，呼籲青年在節日期間要保持警覺，不要受毒品誘惑。

Meanwhile, the commissioner for narcotics, Manda Chan, said in a statement: “We will continue to collaborate with different organisations to implement suitable preventive education and publicity programmes at workplaces or venues frequented by young adults to promote healthy lifestyles and positive attitudes against drug temptation.”
