日本近十年來湧現一批「怪獸家長」(Monster parents)他們往往以子女作「人質」,向教師提出無理要求,令為人師表承受前所未有的壓力。

國內家長護衛小朋友過當,演出不良示範,反而影響小朋友價值觀。而日本也出現一群「怪獸家長」,成為教育體系的隱憂。

「怪獸家長」一詞指的是以自我為中心,對學校提出各種無理要求的家長。

最近关於“中国狼爸”教育方式的争论吸引衆人的目光,让人们联想起前段时间“美国虎妈”的教育案例。但是非功过难以评说,赞赏者对他们的教育方法给予肯定,更羡慕其教育成果;声讨者认为这无异于教育暴力或者冷暴力,是教育的异化。但狼爸虎妈依然对自己的教育成就十分骄傲。
