齊普拉斯周二晚向「三巨頭」（Troika，即歐洲央行、歐盟及IMF）的負責人發出一封信件，內容稱大致接納債權人日前提出的經改方案，但要求修訂部分退休改革內容，包括到2022年把退休年齡逐步提高至67歲的措施，延至今年10月才執行；另外亦表明向貧窮退休人士發放的「團結津貼」，推遲至2019年年底前才取消。
