其他症狀可包括發冷、顫抖、頭痛、疲倦或肌肉痛，有時還會出現肚瀉。病發初期，有些患者只有輕微的呼吸道感染症狀，但數日後可能會有咳嗽、呼吸困難等下呼吸道感染的症狀。

The initial symptoms are influenza-like. Patients with SARS usually begin with fever, which is often high (38oC or above), and sometimes associated with chills, rigors, headache, malaise, muscle pain or even diarrhoea.
