香港大學李嘉誠醫學院公共衞生學院副教授潘烈文直言，只要患有呼吸道疾病的病人存在，任何空氣不流通的地方均可有機會導致病人交叉感染，因病人打噴嚏時，病毒會連同飛沫停留在空氣中，如空氣不流通，則無法稀釋空氣中的病毒，有可能會傳染他人。
