工聯會立法會議員王國興強調，流動小販有助活化社區，倫敦、紐約等地都有流動小販，香港政府不應將流動小販「趕盡殺絕」，反而應該重新發放流動小販牌照，並呼籲立法會食物安全及環境衛生事務委員會成員支持延長退還牌照計劃。
