事實上，沒有出現退休金危機、去年被國際機構Mercer選為亞洲最佳退休體系的新加坡，正是「講金」最重的地方。該國多年來一直抗拒推行全民的隨支隨付式退保，而是強制全民大力儲蓄，年輕國民每月20%的工資收入，皆要供到自己的「中央公積金」戶口，作為未來退休金。
