聲援劉曉波的「自由劉曉波工作組」昨晚發訃告，形容劉曉波是中國民主轉型運動的先驅及殉道者，在六四後，承擔了中國政治反對運動的組織化工作，他多次介入人權運動與維權運動，關心下一代青年作家和異議知識分子，強調會繼承他的遺志。

During this “rights protection” movement, lawyers and activists tried to use the Chinese courts to protect victims of rights abuses; some 300 of them were rounded up in July 2015, and a number still remain in jail or are in custody.
