行政長官林鄭月娥表示，食物及衞生局已經與持份者就醫務委員會的改革達成共識，局方將積極跟進《2017年醫生註冊(修訂)條例草案》的立法工作，希望盡早在立法會的法案委員會討論，提交大會恢復二讀。

The Chief Executive, Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor, said today that she believes a consensus has been reached between various parties over plans to reform the Medical Council. She said that after months of negotiations, she is now confident a revised bill will fare better than the one that failed to get through Legco last year.
