Tourists in Hong Kong can now look forward to taking a ride on the popular Ngong Ping 360 cable cars, which will resume services in about two weeks after five months of maintenance work.

 It is worth recalling that one of the world’s leading providers of cable-car systems had withdrawn from the initial tender because it did not think the (cheaper) two-cable system used in the Ngong Ping Skyrail was suitable.
