宗祠為宗族承傳很重要的地方，屯門陶氏宗祠建於清朝康熙五十七年（公元1718 年），為陶氏宗族第一所祠堂，因日久失修，後出租改為工廠，現已關閉。

Like other Chinese ancestral halls—a place for venerating the dead and a common village meet-up point—dragons, phoenixes and other auspicious symbols decorate the exterior. A plaque shows Mr. Li’s name at the top of the donor list.
