擾攘半年的尖沙嘴星光大道擴建爭議有突破發展，康文署昨早罕有地先後閉門會見油尖旺區議會和海濱事務委員會後交代新修訂計劃，宣布為回應公眾訴求，決定不推展去年8月獲城規會通過的所有申請項目，原本不經招標便交新世界管理的尖沙嘴海濱花園，將由康文署自行管理，新世界則只負責優化原本的星光大道及梳士巴利花園。
