粵劇名伶「女姐」紅線女一生充滿傳奇，被中國視為國寶級演員，獲多位中國領導人賞識，前總理周恩來稱她為「南國紅豆」，前國家主席鄧小平亦是其捧場客，還被紅線女叫他戒煙。女姐經歷文革批鬥，平反後重新投入戲曲界，多次獲委任為人大代表。
