由於油麻地果欄發生三級火，香港八和會館在傍晚6時許發出聲明，指火勢仍未受控，戲院附近亦已封路。故為安全起見及消防署的建議，原定今日(4日)晚上7時30分於油麻地戲院上演的劇目《帝女花》決定取消。

The fire also led to the cancellation of a Cantonese opera in the adjoining Yau Ma Tei Theatre, also a Grade Two historical building. The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced that the program Princess Changping, presented by the Chinese Artists Association of Hong Kong, had been canceled for safety reasons.
