暌違17年，基隆港10月要舉辦國際龍舟賽邀請賽！基隆市體育休閒推廣協會宣布，將在10月2、3日舉辦國際龍舟賽，已邀請15個國家隊伍參與，同時也讓基隆鄉親重溫舊夢，坐在基隆港畔體驗刺激動感的龍舟競賽。

本港龍舟賽事中，其中一個最有特色的為赤柱國際龍舟錦標賽，今年緊張刺激的比賽會繼續在赤柱正灘上演，逾6000名本港及海外健兒將爭奪不同獎項，當中包括「最搶鏡服飾獎」，過去不同隊伍扮過蜘蛛俠、比卡超爬龍舟，未知今年健兒們又會如何打扮爭取大眾喜愛。

“A newly added special race – the HKSAR 20th Anniversary CCB (Asia) Trophy – will see top teams from 18 districts in Hong Kong compete for glory.”
There will also be an obstacle race, “Red Bull Dragon Roar,” and a funny dragon boat race “Fancy Dress Race.”
These races will be held on June 4, when participants will compete for the Best Costume Award by wearing unique and eye-catching outfits.
