2009年9月起，香港改行全球多數國家採用的「三三四學制」，同時推行「新高中課程」，舊制中學會考及預科高考兩個公開試合併為「中學文憑試」（DSE）。中學學制和課程改革是香港教育制度改革的主要部分，影響深遠。
