周日（9月6日）九龍區遊行期間警方於彌敦道截停一部970號新巴，指控車長「無故響號」，巴士「快速行駛」貼近警員，車長涉危險駕駛罪拘捕。新成立的巴士業工會「巴士業界聯合工會」原要求警方及政府明天（周五）下午 4 時前回應訴求，包括就濫捕向業界及當事人致歉等，否則發起工業行動。
