整個藍屋建築群活化計劃，涉及藍屋、黃屋和橙屋幾幢唐樓，全部在上世紀20至50年代建成。藍屋以磚木結構為主，保留木樓板、木樓梯等特色設計，也是本港現存少數有陽台的唐樓；2000年獲古物諮詢委員會列為一級歷史建築，2013年開始復修，首次採用「留屋留人」方式活化，工程期間藍屋、黃屋及橙屋14戶居民繼續留住。

The project started about four years ago and is the first time that Hong Kong has tried to revitalize a building while allowing the tenants to remain after the renovation.
