顧名思義，「暴民政治」最顯著的特點就是「暴力」二字，就是有一些人以暴力方式來表達他們的政治主張和政治訴求。從法律角度看，他們不折不扣是暴徒或暴民；從政治角度說，他們的這種活動就是暴民政治。
