The UK\u2019s National Air Traffic Services<\/strong> (NATS) was asked to investigate ways of further developing the airport. The two phases of reports made recommendations for Air Traffic Control (ATC) operational improvements and investigated airport designs. Starting with 16 options, these were eventually narrowed down to three possible ones, all of which represented variations on a third parallel runway.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

2008\u5e74\uff0c\u82f1\u570b\u7684\u570b\u5bb6\u822a\u7a7a\u4ea4\u901a\u670d\u52d9\u516c\u53f8<\/strong>\u65bc\u5168\u9762\u6aa2\u8996\u9999\u6e2f\u570b\u969b\u6a5f\u5834\u7684\u5bb9\u91cf\u5f8c\u7e3d\u7d50\uff0c\u82e5\u5be6\u65bd\u4e00\u7cfb\u5217\u6539\u5584\u63aa\u65bd\uff0c\u518d\u52a0\u4e0a\u6700\u65b0\u7684\u822a\u7a7a\u4ea4\u901a\u7ba1\u5236\u6280\u8853\uff0c\u96d9\u8dd1\u9053\u7cfb\u7d71\u6700\u9ad8\u5bb9\u91cf\u53ef\u589e\u81f3\u6bcf\u5c0f\u664268\u67b6\u6b21\u3002<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Subsequently, the UK-based National Air Traffic Services<\/strong> reviewed this capacity in 2008 and concluded that using the latest air traffic control technology, it could be raised to 68 flights per hour subject to various enhancement measures.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
